Chapter 623
Chapter 623:
Candice pondered the suggestion. If she could use the plane’s lavatory, she could purchase sanitary pads herself.
Biting her lip, she contemplated for a moment. Suddenly, her gaze shifted toward Milton, and she suggested, “Turn around. I’ll use it now. I’ll change it on the plane.”
Though she had disposable underwear in her bag, changing underwear in the car would be impractical.
At present, she could use a sanitary pad; otherwise, her blood might soil the car seat.
Thankfully, the window was tinted black, rendering the car’s interior invisible from the outside.
“Why?” Milton furrowed his brows. “Is there something I can’t see?”
Candice was speechless.
Realizing he had no intention of turning around, she felt a mix of embarrassment and irritation. Angrily, she insisted, “I told you to turn around!”
Milton turned his head, looking away.
Candice pulled down her trousers and placed a sanitary pad on her underwear. Luckily, her trousers remained unstained, and the seat was clean. She heaved a sigh of relief and hastily put her trousers back on.
When she raised her head, she discovered that Milton had been observing her all along.
Once again, she found herself at a loss for words. This man seemed oblivious to the concept of privacy.
After restarting the car, Milton reached the private plane apron approximately thirty minutes later.
The captain and the deputy captain stood under the plane, bowing their heads in a show of respect as Milton approached. Then, Milton boarded the plane with Candice.
Candice experienced her first time aboard a private plane, which turned out to be much larger than she had anticipated. The cabin exuded a remarkable level of luxury. Wall-to-wall carpeting, a designated dining space, a relaxing recliner, and even two restrooms filled the cabin.
brings fresh updates
On the dining table, there awaited a dedicated lunch box filled with an array of food, dozens of dishes, numerous types of bread, along with red wine and coffee, all thoughtfully prepared on the plane.
The recliner held a couple of neatly folded attire changes.
Candice’s eyes quickly scanned the clothing. One set was unmistakably Milton’s suit, and the other was a women’s dress complemented with a vest. It was clear that Milton had orchestrated everything meticulously. Their dinner the previous evening had been skipped, and they hadn’t yet had their morning meal. Her stomach was rumbling with hunger. Moreover, they’d spent the prior night sleeping outdoors. Milton, with his well-known fixation on cleanliness, must have been feeling uncomfortable for a while.
Handing her the fresh clothes, Milton said, “Why don’t you freshen up first?”
“Alright.” With her clothes in hand, Candice walked into one of the bathrooms.
