Chapter 756
Chapter 756:
After all, it was due to her that Milton had been injured. Candice was left without any grievances.
She reached for a sterile towel, ready to clean the dried blood.
Suddenly, Milton intervened, “No. It’s not a disposable towel. I refuse to use it. Use a moist tissue instead.” Candice was at a loss for words.
Milton’s particularity baffled her. The towels were all sterilized and safe to use.
Left without a choice, Candice used a damp tissue to clean the sticky blood. She had to slice the shirt with a pair of scissors and carefully peel it away from his body. After it was off, she dressed him in a fresh shirt, buttoning it up slowly.
Once she finished with the shirt, Candice unfolded the thin blanket covering him and took a peek. “There’s no need to change the pants. We could just remove the hospital gown, right?”
“Absolutely not. I’ve been in these clothes all day. I can’t bear another minute.” Milton rolled his eyes at her dismissively.
Candice found herself at a loss for words.
She never imagined herself in a situation where she would be helping him remove his pants in the hospital.
The ward’s door had remained shut for an extended period. She wondered what conclusions those outside might have drawn.
“Be quick with removing my pants. Start by undoing the belt,” Milton instructed.
Quickly, Candice clapped a hand over his mouth. “Quiet, Milton. Please don’t speak.”
Her cheeks aflame with embarrassment, she didn’t dare meet his eyes.
Blindly, she reached for the belt buckle but failed to find it.
Milton gently removed her hand from his mouth and instructed, “Avoid unnecessary contact, Candice. Where are you placing your hand? Are you even aware of what you’re doing? Are you clueless? Need me to guide you?
is where the magic begins
Look, use your hands this way!”
Milton guided her hand to his belt buckle, applying slight pressure to illustrate.
Candice stammered, her embarrassment growing.
Could she actually do this? She had never faced such an awkward predicament before. To make matters worse, his suggestive words were not at all subtle. What if the others heard them? What would they assume? Candice was overpowered by shame.
After what felt like an eternity, she managed to unbuckle his belt with his assistance.
Letting out a sigh of relief, she pulled down his trousers. His legs were untouched, thus no need to tread lightly around them.
She then attempted to dress him in a fresh pair of trousers, clumsily securing the belt again. Throughout the ordeal, she avoided eye contact with Milton. Her gaze averted and her touch cautious, ensuring she didn’t touch anything inappropriate.
Once she completed the task, she noticed her back was drenched in sweat, and her face was a shade of red that screamed embarrassment.
