Chapter 768
Chapter 769:
The atmosphere in the car grew depressed.
Davion and Sariah, who sat in the back seat, exchanged uncomfortable looks. They didn’t dare say anything because they didn’t know what was going on.
Milton gazed at Candice, his expression turning more somber.
Jarrod drove the nanny car to the Blake family’s residence. The villa no longer sported a fence since the construction progressed rapidly. The varying shades of autumn could be seen in the leaves of the trees. It looked like a picture from a fairy tale.
As soon as Jarrod parked the car, they all got out and entered the villa. Jarrod had everything arranged in advance. The medical equipment required to stabilize Milton’s arms was already near the bed and sofa, and the medicines were up to date.
Davion carefully examined Milton and then rewrapped his arm. He also instructed Sariah on which medicines to administer to Milton throughout the day.
Sariah skillfully prepared an IV for Milton.
Meanwhile, Davion stood to the side respectfully and said, “Mr. Lopez, you’ve recovered quickly, and you’re in good health. For today, we’ll only administer a bottle of antibiotics and a bottle of vasoconstriction agent. It should take about two hours. I’ll be back tomorrow.”
Milton nodded and then pointed toward the ECG monitor and oxygen pump at the head of the bed. “These are no longer useful. You can take them all and go.”
“Okay, Mr. Lopez,” Davion replied respectfully.
Milton then nodded toward Candice and asked, “How is she?”
Candice, sitting on the sofa, waved her hand indifferently and said, “I’m fine.”
“I didn’t ask you,” Milton glared at her.

His tone of voice rendered Candice speechless.
Davion immediately responded, “Other than the slight concussion, Miss Blake is fine. She doesn’t need the IV. However, I’ve prescribed some medicine. She’ll need to take them for the next three days.”
Milton nodded curtly and motioned for Davion to leave.
Sariah stayed by the door, watching for any reaction from the IV. Once it was over, she removed the needle from Milton’s hand, disinfected the area, and put a bandage on it.
As soon as Sariah finished, Milton ordered, “You can leave too. Come back at the same time tomorrow.”
Sariah was stunned. “But Mr. Lopez, I’m here to take care of you all the time. Including at night. If you need help, I’ll be here.”
“Just go!” Milton yelled in anger.
