Chapter 892
Chapter 895:
“So what?” Bart said complacently. “You can speculate all you want, but do you have concrete evidence against me?”
He snorted before continuing arrogantly, “If you have concrete evidence, why did you expose me in front of the directors? You’re a lawyer. You can pass the evidence directly to the police.”
Bart stood up and pretended to dust off his suit. “Anyway, since I’m busted, I won’t hide any longer. It’s no big deal. What can you do to me?”
“What the hell did you put into my wine that night?” Milton hollered, his fists clenched, blue veins standing out on his forehead. If Erica had not stopped him, he would have beaten Bart.
Bart burst into laughter. “Just some psychedelic. Was your vision blurred? As if you couldn’t see anything clearly? Anyway, you must have enjoyed the entire night. I bet you know exactly what I put.” Bart glanced meaningfully at Candice before staring coldly at Milton. “If it weren’t for me, she would have been someone else’s wife. Do you think she would have been involved with you now? You must be obsessed with her. I heard that you didn’t even go back to your own house. She must really be your type. Shouldn’t you be thanking me?” he said sarcastically.
“Shut up! That’s a different issue!” Milton cried angrily.
Just then, Candice interrupted, “Bart, you wanted to ruin Milton’s image by involving him in scandals and court cases, didn’t you? I sued him just as you planned. I’m sure you also played a part in spreading the scandal written by the media. You must also be the one behind the trouble at the Fake Horse Bidding, causing Milton to make the wrong decision in his business. You also framed Erica at the ambassador’s wife’s birthday party. You wanted to create a rift between me and the Lopez family. You wanted me to make Milton more, didn’t you? If I hadn’t withdrawn the lawsuit, Milton would have been suspended and lost his reputation. Then, you would be the biggest winner. Am I right?”
Bart didn’t deny it. He wasn’t concerned now that his schemes were exposed. Instead, he shrugged and said, “You have great deductions. Unfortunately, they are all speculations. I admit that I underestimated you. I didn’t expect you to be so persistent in finding the truth. How can you be so obsessed with Milton in such a situation? You are really shameless. He raped you, destroyed your marriage, and caused you to have a miscarriage. Why are you so loyal to him? Are you out of your mind? Women are really stupid and emotional. Anyway, using you was a coincidence. I happened to know you through someone and took advantage of you. If you have anyone to blame, it will be your own bad luck and carelessness in making friends.”

Bart deliberately glanced at Bettina as he spoke, and Bettina’s face turned pale.
When she heard that, Candice’s expression changed.
“You were trying to benefit yourself. Don’t shift the blame to others,” cried Candice as she immediately tried to defend Bettina.
She didn’t care if she was humiliated. She couldn’t let Bart hurt Bettina again. Although she wanted to reveal the truth, she didn’t want to place the blame on Bettina.
Candice glanced meaningfully at Bettina, showing that she trusted her. Bettina was touched and nodded in response.
Just then, Erica spoke up, “So, you put psychedelics in my juice at the ambassador’s wife’s birthday party? Was it when I was in the bathroom halfway through the party? You must have, didn’t you? No wonder I was dizzy then. My vision was blurred, and I couldn’t stand properly. Bart, how could you do such a thing?”
