Chapter 133:
As the woman who stayed glued to Ethan’s side all day, there was no way she wouldn’t know whose collarbones those were.
The more miserable she was, the more unhinged she got, the more satisfied I became.
That rush from driving a knife into her heart had become the only thing keeping me going lately.
On Saturday, I showed up at the studio at the agreed time.
It was my first time in a place like that, with staff hurrying everywhere and huge camera cranes looming over the set.
Frank’s eyes brightened the moment he saw me.

Wearing his costume, he gave off a handsome, noble air that was completely different from his usual soft manner.
“Lianne, over here!” He waved at me excitedly and led me onto the inner set, then placed me in an excellent spot right beside the director.
“Wait for me. I’ll take you out for lunch after this scene.” He shot me a wink before turning toward the camera.
I had to admit, Frank was made for this.
The instant the director called, “Action,” his whole presence changed, turning sharp yet intensely expressive, with every glance brimming with emotion.
Even Mason Jones, the famously demanding director, gave an approving nod.
After watching for a bit, I started to feel stifled, so I got up and went to the restroom to rinse my face.
But fate seemed intent on forcing certain people together in the smallest possible places.
The moment I pushed the restroom door open, I ran straight into someone I knew.
It was Ivy.
She was dressed in an ornate costume, obviously part of the cast for this production.
The instant she recognized me, the practiced smile on her face vanished, and her brows drew together as naked disgust surfaced in her eyes.
“Lianne? What are you doing here?” Her sharp voice rang through the empty restroom.
I walked over to the sink and casually turned on the faucet, savoring the chill of the water running across my fingertips.
“I came to see you,” I said this as I turned toward the mirror and gave her reflection a bright, provocative smile. “I wanted to see with my own eyes how angry my little post made you yesterday.”
The color drained from Ivy’s face. She took a step toward me, her polished nails pressing deep into her palms.
“I knew it! That post was meant for me!” She let out a cold laugh. “Lianne, do you really think a picture like that can prove anything? That Ethan still belongs to you?”
She abruptly moved closer, dropping her voice with a sickening air of superiority.
“So you saw the post I made that night, didn’t you? When you found out Ethan lied to you and rushed off to the hotel in the middle of the night to see me, how did that feel?”
Lianne’s POV
The restroom lights were harsh, and Ivy looked at me with a smug expression.
Seeing how confident she was, I found it completely absurd.
