Chapter 447:
“Innocent? She’s far from innocent!” Ivy’s eyes burned with hatred. “As long as Lianne vanishes from this world, you’ll come back to me, won’t you? You’ll claim me before the pack, and I’ll give you an Alpha heir…”
Watching her emotions spiral further out of control, I knew pushing her harder would only make things worse.
“Fine. Tell me what you want.” I softened my voice, adding a note of persuasion. “As long as you don’t hurt her, I’ll give you anything. Money, influence, shares in the Voss Group… Whatever you ask for can be yours.”
The atmosphere seemed to solidify with tension.

Ivy suddenly lifted her head, madness flashing in her eyes.
She looked at me, then glanced down at the barely conscious Lianne in her grasp. Slowly, a twisted smile spread across her face.
“What use do I have for meaningless things like money and power?” Her voice rang through the warehouse, every word filled with malice. “Ethan, I want you, right here, right now, in front of all your men and in front of this disgusting woman, to get on your knees and beg me to become your mate. I want you to swear that you’ll love only me for the rest of your life. Otherwise, I’ll drag your precious woman straight into hell with me!”
Lianne’s POV
The silver poison surged through my body like a raging storm.
Ivy’s hand was shaking, but the dagger coated in concentrated silver dust remained firmly pressed against my throat.
I could feel the blade cutting into my skin, cold and burning pain mingling together as my already fragile consciousness continued to slip away.
“Ethan, are you going to kneel or not?” Ivy screamed, her voice shrill and warped by the thrill of destruction. “I want you to beg me! Beg me to become your mate! I want this disgusting woman to watch the man she loves crawl at my feet!”
Summoning the last bit of strength remaining in my body, I let out a weak, raspy plea. “No… Ethan… don’t…”
He was the powerful head of the Thorn Pack, the undefeated Alpha of Nitesland.
The dignity of the entire pack rested on his shoulders. How could he drop to his knees on this filthy concrete floor because of me?
Yet my feeble objection only seemed to make Ivy more furious.
She pushed the dagger in even deeper. Blood streamed down my collarbone, soaking the torn material and stinging against my skin.
“Stop!” Ethan’s agonized roar rang through the warehouse.
I forced my heavy eyelids open, my vision obscured by a veil of blood.
I saw Ethan, who had always carried himself with pride and distance, standing there with bloodshot eyes and his body shaking uncontrollably.
Then, with a loud thud, he sank to one knee in front of me.
His knee slammed against the floor. His eyes remained fixed on me, brimming with desperation and a wordless plea.
I knew exactly what he was asking. He was begging me to keep fighting, begging me not to let my eyes close.
