Chapter 221:
The color drained completely from Ivy’s face, and her eyes widened in disbelief. “What are you talking about? You’re sending me away? Ethan, have you forgotten that you promised to take care of me? Have you forgotten what happened—”
“I haven’t forgotten. That’s why I’m giving you money and status.” I stepped closer, letting the pressure of my Alpha authority settle over her. “But I will not give you the title of Luna, and I will never give you my heart. Stop testing how far you can push me, and don’t appear in front of Lianne again. You’ll be on a flight tomorrow morning. Don’t come back.”
All I wanted now was to go home and stay by Lianne’s side.
Ethan’s POV
Ivy’s eyes, so often shining with those carefully worn innocent tears, flew wide in shock.
She lunged at me almost frantically and grabbed hold of my sleeve, clinging to it as though she would never release it.
“No… Ethan, I’m not going! You can’t do this to me!” she cried out, her voice raw with anguish. “I don’t want to be left alone overseas again… I can’t live without you, Ethan. Please, don’t send me away!”
I watched her unravel without the slightest change in expression, and inside me, nothing stirred.
Calmly and without hesitation, I peeled her fingers from my sleeve one by one.
Ivy froze for the briefest moment, then broke down even harder. “Don’t leave me behind. I only want us to be together again. Can’t we return to the way things used to be?”
“There is no going back.” My thoughts had never been sharper. “You have two options. One, I send you abroad, give you enough money to live on for the rest of your life, and continue backing your career as an actress. Two, you stay here, but from this moment forward, Voss Group cuts off all support, and I personally blacklist you. From then on, there will be nothing left between us.”

Ivy stood there completely shaken.
She was not foolish. She understood perfectly well that without my protection, she would become worthless. The people who once crowded around her would be the first to disappear.
“So… you’re really doing this to me for that worthless woman? The one who doesn’t even have a wolf anymore?” she screamed, the mask on her face finally splitting apart.
“She is not worthless. She is my fated mate.”
I bent down without warning and seized her chin, my grip so hard it nearly crushed bone.
“You knew from the start that I already had a mate, and still you used what I owed you as a weapon to provoke her and hurt her over and over again.” A cold, bitter smile pulled at my mouth. “But you’re not the one I despise most. That would be me. And the person who hurt Lianne most of all was never you. It was me, the self-righteous bastard.”
I was the one who handed Ivy the weapon she used against Lianne. I was the one who let her go that far.
When Ivy saw the absolute coldness in my eyes, she finally collapsed inward and lowered her head.
