Chapter 112:
I knew that out of those hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions, half had come to watch the “unfaithful Alpha” of Voss Group, while the other half wanted to see me and Ivy face off.
“Lianne, are you ready?” Bella asked in a low voice.
I took a deep breath and gave myself one final look in the mirror.
Today, I had chosen a black sequin gown with a plunging V-neck. Its clean, sharp cut outlined my figure perfectly.
My long hair had been done in loose curls that fell carelessly over my shoulders.
I was no longer the soft, reserved mate people were used to seeing. This time, I was the one leading Sparkle.
The press conference began.
As soon as the host introduced Ethan, the camera switched straight to his face, the kind that captivated women all over the city.
I watched the livestream comments pour in almost at once, brimming with excitement.

“Oh my God! The Alpha is ridiculously handsome!”
“I wonder if he and Ivy could actually end up together! They look so good together!”
When it was time for me to go onstage, I stepped into the spotlight in my twelve-centimeter stilettos without a hint of hesitation.
The mood in the comments changed immediately.
“Wait, that’s Lianne? Her figure and aura are nearly on Ivy’s level!”
“I’m switching sides. I like Lianne better!”
Only when Ivy appeared did the screen become completely flooded with supportive comments, burying everything else.
She wore a pure white lace dress, like a fairy straying into the human world, clinging to Ethan’s side and shining so brightly she was impossible to ignore.
During the presentation segment, I stood before the microphone and introduced Sparkle’s design concept for the season with calm professionalism and confidence.
“Sparkle stands for something forged under immense pressure. Like diamonds, it must go through cutting and polishing before reaching its final form and visual perfection.”
I delivered every word smoothly, and even the media below the stage found themselves nodding again and again.
Even though the comments were still packed with hostility and negativity, I knew my professionalism had already begun to quiet the people who were only there to watch the drama.
I had been getting ready for this moment for a long time.
I meant to use the tangled relationship between the three of us to push Sparkle’s visibility as high as possible.
So when it came to the interaction segment that followed, every guest arrangement had already been set by me beforehand.
No matter how the host made the draw, the only possible choice would be Ethan.
“Let’s see who our first guest for the interaction segment is.” The host looked toward the screen and put on a surprised face. “Oh, it’s Ethan Voss, CEO of Voss Group!”
When Ethan’s name was called, a wave of commotion swept through the crowd.
Ethan made his way onto the stage at an unhurried pace and stopped beside me.
At that same moment, the livestream filled with comments, many of them openly hostile.
