Chapter 334:
Disgust surged through me. I slapped his hand away, and the fury I had been suppressing finally burst out. “Don’t touch me!”
Fighting against the haze clouding my mind, I pushed myself to my feet. “I need to go to the restroom.”
“Come on, don’t rush off. I’ll go with you,” Mark said as he immediately moved to follow me.
“No need. I can go myself.” I tried my best to sound calm, but my body was already swaying.
The expression on Mark’s face instantly darkened when he saw me resisting. He motioned for Jason to block the doorway and threatened, “Don’t test my patience. Behave, or you’ll regret it.”
Seeing Jason standing there, blocking my way out, I felt something fierce ignite inside me.
I stopped holding back. The moment he reached for me, I twisted out of his grasp. Then, I lifted my high heel, slammed it hard into his knee, and drove another kick into his stomach.

“Ah!” Jason doubled over instantly, clutching his stomach in pain.
Mark completely lost his temper. Swearing viciously, he charged toward me. I snatched a wine bottle from the table and swung it at him as a distraction, then used all the strength left in my body to shove him hard onto the floor.
Taking advantage of the chaos, I rushed out of the room and staggered toward the restroom, locking the door the second I got inside.
After that, the entire room began spinning violently around me. The floor seemed to tilt beneath my feet, and my body could barely stay upright.
My heartbeat was unnaturally fast, while a burning heat spread through my limbs, leaving me weak and dizzy. A sudden realization struck me, they must have spiked the drinks.
My hands trembled uncontrollably as I dug through my bag for my phone. I tried to send Oscar a message and ask for help, but my fingers were so numb that they wouldn’t do what I wanted them to do.
Just then, my phone suddenly vibrated violently in my hand.
I couldn’t see who was calling, but I instinctively picked up the call. “Hello…”
A low, anxious voice came from the other end of the line, unexpectedly reassuring to me. “Where are you? Talk to me!”
In that instant, I lost all my composure. Every bit of strength and calm disappeared, and I was left feeling helpless and scared.
My body slid weakly against the cold restroom wall until I sank onto the floor. Using the last of my strength, I struggled to speak.
“I’m drunk…”
Before I could finish the sentence, the phone slipped from my hand.
My vision went black. All the strength drained from my body as I collapsed onto the cold, hard floor.
Ethan’s POV:
The moment I pushed open the restroom door and saw Lianne unconscious on the cold floor, it felt as though a hand had reached into my chest and crushed my heart without mercy. The pain hit so hard that I could hardly breathe.
The sharp smell of alcohol clung to her body, and her usually tidy clothes were now wrinkled.
