Chapter 358:
Could it be that someone had been orchestrating this from the very start, three years ago?
I walked out of the hospital, the harsh daylight stabbing into my eyes.
Instinctively, I raised a hand to my shoulder, fingers brushing the faint bite mark Lianne had left behind.
The memory of last night surged back: her trembling breaths, the way she had clung to me, the intoxicating warmth that still lingered like a phantom on my skin.
If that child truly belonged to her, if she really had lied to me back then…

My chest tightened violently, like an invisible force was crushing my ribs from the inside out.
Before I could steady myself, my phone began to vibrate. It was Noah.
“Alpha, bad news, check the group’s official website immediately!” His voice was tight with panic.
I frowned and tapped on my phone. In an instant, my pupils contracted sharply.
A strange black virus had completely overrun the Voss Group’s website, which was typically formal and dignified in appearance. A black, corrupted interface had replaced everything, as if the entire system had been taken over. The backend was fully compromised, and every page had been overwritten by a massive animated image dripping with mockery.
In the center, bold red letters burned across the screen: “SCUMBAG!”
“Damn it,” I muttered under my breath, a vein throbbing at my temple. “Noah, isolate the servers. Shut everything down immediately. And tell the IT department they have ten minutes to clean this mess up.”
I ended the call just as Jeremy’s name flashed on the screen.
“Ethan! You saw it, right?” Jeremy was laughing uncontrollably on the other end. “That kid is insane! He hacked your entire system just to call you a scumbag in front of everyone. I take it back, he’s definitely your son. That attitude is pure Voss blood.”
“Shut up,” I snapped, my voice sharp. “The child, have you found him yet?”
“Not yet,” Jeremy admitted. “But relax, if he’s got time to hack your company, he’s definitely safe. And honestly… he seems to really hate you.” Then, more seriously, he added, “But Ethan… you’re already worrying about a kid you don’t even know. That’s not like you.”
“Track him down as soon as possible,” I said, leaning back into the seat of the Bentley and closing my eyes for a moment. A strange sense of relief washed over me.
At least the child wasn’t in the hands of someone dangerous.
“Jeremy,” I added after a pause, my gaze darkening, “look into Ivy.”
If Ivy was involved in this, then this time, I wouldn’t let her walk away unscathed.
Lianne’s POV
In a hotel near the Voss Group, I sat rigidly on the sofa, my nails digging so deeply into my palms that I could barely feel my fingers. My gaze stayed locked on the window, unmoving.
Every passing second felt like a dull blade grinding slowly against my heart.
