Chapter 379:
“No way.” I rejected him instantly without the slightest hesitation. My tone was calm, but deadly serious. “He’s my son. Raising him is my responsibility. I’ll learn how.”
As I watched Jeremy and Silas chatting naturally together, Silas even flashing him a small smile for once, a strange sense of jealousy and irritation suddenly rose inside my chest.
Silas was my son. So why was he smiling with someone else?
“Silas,” I interrupted abruptly.
The little boy looked up at me, sauce still smeared carelessly at the corner of his mouth. “What?”
“Come live with me.” I leaned back slightly and casually dangled the bait. “I’ll build you the most advanced server in the world. And a custom computer system designed specifically for you.”
Silas’s eyes lit up immediately. He agreed almost without thinking. “Deal.”
Jeremy slammed his hand dramatically against the table. “Ethan! That’s shameless!” he shouted indignantly. “You’re outright bribing a child!”
Then he narrowed his eyes suspiciously. “And besides, you’re not even completely sure he’s your son yet. What if you’re mistaken?”
I raised an eyebrow slowly. My gaze lingered on Silas’s face, that miniature version of myself sitting across from me. Not only did he resemble me, but the Alpha aura radiating faintly from him matched my own bloodline perfectly.
“Is there even room for doubt?” I asked calmly.

That instinctive blood bond between us felt far more reliable than any DNA report ever could.
That afternoon, I canceled all my international meetings and even had Noah bring the mountain of urgent documents back to the villa.
Inside the enormous living room, an atmosphere of unprecedented tension filled the air.
I sat stiffly in a single armchair while staring across at Silas. Meanwhile, the boy lounged comfortably on the leather sofa, swinging his short legs with complete arrogance.
For the first time in my entire life, I felt utterly helpless.
In the corporate world, I could control billion-dollar negotiations without blinking.
Within my territory, I could suppress the fiercest werewolves effortlessly.
But now, facing this tiny version of myself, I genuinely didn’t know how to speak to him.
After an awkward silence, I finally forced out a question in an unnaturally stiff voice. “So… what do you want to eat?”
Silas slowly raised one eyebrow. “Didn’t we already eat at the restaurant? Did all that alcohol destroy your memory or something?” he asked mercilessly.
For a moment, I was completely speechless. Then a low, helpless laugh escaped my throat.
“Alright then,” I said, rubbing lightly at my brow. “What do you want to drink? Juice? Milk? Snacks?” I was trying, awkwardly and unsuccessfully, to act like a proper father.
But Silas clearly had no interest in indulging my efforts. “Where’s the computer you promised me?” he asked immediately, cutting straight to the point. His eyes gleamed sharply with intelligence far beyond his age. “I want it now.”
Without hesitation, I sent Noah a message ordering him to bring over the top-level custom workstation from the company lab, the unreleased prototype that even senior executives weren’t authorized to touch yet.
