Chapter 445:
A terrified henchman rushed into the warehouse, shouting at the top of his lungs. “We’re surrounded, Miss Brooks! Outside, it’s…”
But before he could finish his warning, a tall and imposing figure charged inside, moving with such speed that he seemed like a shadow cutting through the chaos.
The man’s movements were almost impossible to follow. With one powerful kick, he sent the henchman flying several meters through the air before he crashed into the wall with a horrifying impact. The henchman collapsed instantly, unconscious.
Through my blurred vision, I forced myself to focus on the figure standing against the light.
A black suit. Chiseled features. And an Alpha presence so overwhelming that everyone nearby instinctively recoiled.
It was Ethan. He had come.
The arrogant confidence on Ivy’s face vanished the moment she recognized him. Her complexion drained of color, and terror filled her eyes.

Her knees buckled beneath her, and she fell to the floor, trembling violently. “E-Ethan? How did you…” she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ethan didn’t spare her a glance.
His eyes swept across Ruby and Tracy, bruised and restrained, before settling on me in the corner, curled into myself with torn clothing and a body covered in blood, dirt, and bruises.
At that moment, I saw a storm erupt within his gaze.
“Ivy,” Ethan growled, every syllable saturated with deadly intent. “I’ll make you pay.”
His furious roar echoed throughout the warehouse as he launched himself forward.
He moved like a lightning strike, charging straight toward the three men surrounding me.
The sound of violent impacts filled the air, followed by cries of pain and panic.
But I no longer had the strength to watch.
At that moment, the tension that had held me together finally shattered.
As I saw Ethan making his way toward me, the darkness threatening to consume me began to recede.
He had always been the chain I desperately tried to escape, yet now, in the depths of despair, he was also my lifeline.
Ethan’s POV
The moment I burst through the iron doors, the sight before me felt like a blade driven straight through my chest.
The woman I couldn’t even bring myself to reprimand harshly was sprawled across the filthy concrete floor, covered in injuries and blood.
Lianne’s torn shirt hung loosely from her shoulders, and blood flowed from the wound on her neck, tracing a crimson line down her back.
My wolf erupted instantly, unleashing a fury so primal that it consumed every rational thought. My vision darkened beneath overwhelming rage.
I didn’t need weapons. Steel was too cold to satisfy the inferno burning inside me.
I surged forward like a violent storm, crossing the distance in an instant. Before anyone could react, I grabbed the man standing closest to Lianne by the throat.
Using nothing but my hands, I ripped his throat open.
Blood stained my suit, warm and vivid, but it only intensified the rage coursing through me.
“Run! Get out of here!” The remaining men, horrified by what they had witnessed, abandoned their weapons and scrambled toward the exits.
